The project development is being led by Nigel Whitburn as part of the Education and Heritage Group.
The Trustees are progressing a suggestion that we use the former Paint Shop (an original railway building) at New Romney as an interim base while more long-term decisions are progressed by the Railway about its buildings and plans.
The intention is to use funds already raised and held to carry out any works required and to develop the exhibits.
The building can be seen in the background of this very early photograph.
