The RHDRA’s organisation

The RHDRA is a registered charity and has a constitution.

In 2020 we are undertaking the process of recommending Incorporation as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The reasons were set out by the Chair in the Marshlander, Issue 211 (Article linked here). If you have any questions, do please get in touch.

Members can read the proposed New Constitution and Membership Rules, the Notice of Written Resolutions and the Resolutions (linked here and circulated in the Marshlander).

THE VOTING PROCEDURE PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED HERE CLOSED AS REQUIRED ON 24TH JULY 2020. IT IS NOW TOO LATE TO VOTE.

THE RESULT OF THE VOTE WAS 139 in favour with none against.

This is a quorate vote under para 14.5 of our Constitution and therefore the vote is CARRIED. The procedure is a written resolution under para 14.7.2 of the Constitution.

Members had until midnight on 24th July 2020 (being a date after the end of the minimum 14 clear days’ notice period) to cast their vote by email[1]. Members could request copies of the papers by post in return for a stamped addressed envelope. None took up this offer. Two Members voted by letter, 137 voted by email.
